The 93rd District consists of all of Adams, Brown, Scott, Cass, Schuyler and parts of Pike and Hancock counties. “It is a large district but I love getting out and meeting the people who live in this area, said Tracy. According to State Comptroller Dan Hynes the state of Illinois has over $4 Billion of unpaid bills. “Our state budget is priority number one for this session,” said Tracy. “We have got to bring our spending inline with what we are spending and ensure we provide the services that are needed to the people who need them the most as our national economies problems start to have a greater impact on our local economy, said Tracy” “I have talked to many of my colleagues in Springfield and they are all optimistic that we can finally get some meaningful legislation passed this session if the current governor is removed from office,” said Tracy. Governor Rod Blagojevich was impeached by The Illinois House of Representatives on January 9th by a vote of 114-1. The Illinois Senate is now tasked with trying the governor. “I truly believe that his removal from office would benefit Illinois,” Said Tracy. As always constituents are urged to call Representative Jil Tracy’s office if they have any concerns, suggestions or issues with any state agency. Rep. Tracy’s district office is located at 3701 East Lake Centre Dr, Suite 3, Quincy, Illinois 62305 or you can call (217) 223-0833 or email Jil at jiltracy@jiltracy.com.
