State Representative Jill Tracy Assigned to Important Committees For Immediate Release: Contact Rep. Jill Tracy February 9, 2007 (217) 223-0833 Springfield, IL…With State Representative Jill Tracy entering her first full official term of office she secured the important committee assignments of Transportation, Consumer Protection, Local Government, Higher Education, Aging, Rural Economic Development, and Juvenile Justice Reform. “The Transportation Committee, Local Government and Higher Education Committee are traditionally very active and I feel that it is a tremendous honor to be given the opportunity to sit on these important committees,” said Rep. Tracy. The Rural Economic Development Committee and the Juvenile Justice Reform Committee should also have a number of significant bills going through their hands during this legislative session. “I feel that my legal background, and the time I served with the Attorney Generals Office and my position on the Illinois Department of Corrections Juvenile Advisory Committee give me an advantage when discussing bills that come through the Juvenile Justice Reform Committee as well as the Consumer Protection Committee” Tracy said. “I also think that being on the Rural Economic Development Committee is a great opportunity to bring new economic resources to our district and create more jobs for my constituents.” The Aging Committee is also important to me as we try to address issues affecting our senior citizens and prepare for the growth of our aging population. State Representative Jill Tracy can be reached by phone at (217) 223-0833 or at her district office located at 3701 East Lake Centre Drive, Suite 3 , in Quincy , Illinois .
